Ikebana in nature

Flower arrangements are called Ikebana by the Japanese. Like Bosai, Ikebana is about rearranging nature’s order. Flowers and twigs from different origins come together, in Ikebana, producing a new order dictated by the designer’s inner flow. On the other hand, Bonsai, rearranges the plants growth to a different scale dictated by the designer’s inner shrinking. Nature’s ikebana rearranges order that was accepted before life emerged.
